Board Members help make the organization run. There are three main pathways by which potential NATLE officers and Board members are collected for the Annual Meeting slate: Nominating Committee; Board Member recommendations; Call for Nominations to the general Membership.

Any person [s]elected to serve on the Board of Governors of the association will be expected to assist with Strategic Planning efforts, Committee performance, and member outreach.  Board Members are asked to sit on or chair Committees, reach out to new NATLE members, and deliberate issues that come before the Board.  A candidate should have proven leadership skills with both NATLE and as well as with his/her TLA and/or other organizations.  We welcome confident leaders who participate fully, but who recognize that leadership also means listening, sharing space, and elevating the voices of others. Criteria for eligibility.
